Delta’s Biggest Spelling Competition Yet!
Calling all word wizards and spelling stars of Delta KS2! From January 17th to the 8th of February we will be hosting our biggest spelling competition yet.
Any pupil in an academy that plays the relevant spelling game will be ranked by the number of correct answers given, meaning pupils of all abilities can work towards the academy’s ranking. The average rank of the pupils will determine the academy’s rank.
The competitions will be run on Emile. The game will be 6 rounds with Year 1 words in round 1, Year 2 words in round 2 and so on.

The competition will appear under “Events” in the Emile app for pupils and similarly under “Events” in the Emile Teacher Portal. We’ll also be using the hashtag #DeltaEmile24 on Twitter/X.
