Miss Johnson - Teaching Assistant

Hi I'm Miss Johnson. I have worked at Kingston for about 13 years. I love working here as the children are fantastic. From my first day on supply the staff have always been warm, welcoming and fun.  I have three lively children Morgan, Poppy and Issac that keep me very busy.

When I get some free time I love baking cakes much to my colleagues delight.

PE Sessions

PE will continue to be Tuesday afternoon. However, please ensure your child has their PE kit every day in case of changes to the time table.

Friday afternoon - Swimming

Reading at home

It is important that children read at home every night, if they read at home and get their reading record signed they will receive a learning point for each time they read and be entered into the weekly raffle to win a book.

Times Table Targets

As you are aware each child has a times table target which you can find displayed in the classroom. I am really pleased with the progress children are making in learning their times tables and hope that this continues.

Your child should have brought home their spellings for this half term. Each set is dated so you know when they will be taught and tested. Children who achieve higher scores than their previous test will receive a learning point and those achieving full marks will get 2 learning points plus an extra point for each consecutive week they get full marks.

Any websites/passwords that would be helpful for parents - Bug club and abacus homework - pupil reward points

Class rules/other things parents may need to know
Children should have a spelling sheet for the whole of term, if they need another they are available on our wall.  Each child has been given a times table target, if they have not brought this home there is a display in class where you can find out what times table your child needs to learn and what exactly they need to do to move on to their next target.
