Snow and Bad Weather

In the event of bad weather it is always the academy's priority to remain open and as such the site team will work to ensure that the site is both accessible and safe.

There are however instances where the academy might not be able to open as normal as a result of severe weather. In such instances any changes to the usual opening arrangements will be communicated on the academy website and via our local radio station Trax FM 107.1 and 107.9 along with BBC Nottingham 103.8 and 95.5fm.

A text system is also in place to let parents know that the academy will be closed due to bad weather. Where no updates have been provided parents and students should assume that the academy is open as normal.

Given the event of bad weather the academy advises all students, staff and visitors to wrap up warmly and wear sensible footwear.  Please bring ‘indoor’ clothing and footwear as appropriate with you.
